Tata's Musings on Love
Valentine’s Day is just the perfect time for my musings on love. First, we start with Shari Tata and why I started the company and why we opened the store. I have simply always loved fashion and love to create. My amazing parents were both so creative and really instilled creativity in my sisters and I. As far a fashion, I attribute it all to my grandma Sophie, my daddy’s mama.

My Romance with The Old Wild West
I have long been romanced by the Old Wild West, the building of The Transcontinental Railroad and the California Gold Rush. We're talking about 1848 to about the early 1870's or so.
From the hot guys on the T.V. series “Alias Smith and Jones” to the wholesome Ingalls family on “Little House on The Prairie”, I was hooked! Westerns appeared everywhere! I watched “Here Come the Brides”, ate Gold Rush chewing gum in those cute burlap bags (and still do!), always had cowboy boots and a cowboy hat and, of course, played a nice folk guitar to go with it!
Marie! and It's Inspiration!
One of my favorite historical periods is the French Revolution. You have beautiful Versailles with all its well-dressed courtiers at its center, a selfish queen – Marie Antoinette – and everyone else being abused and then rising up. The subject of fairy tales, right?
