Always wanted to learn how to make a knitted hat? Look no further! Shari Tata is here! Designer Shari Rivkind of Shari Tata has designed knitted ice cream themed hats to go with their Fall/Winter 2022 Collection "I Scream!" and they want to share it with you! We will be instructing a three class series of our Vanilla Fudge Sundae hat (the hat with the red pom pom pictured above). Beginners welcome!
The 3 - 3 hour classes cost $90 dollars. The Class schedule is October 13, 20, & 27 from 6 to 9 PM at 976 Lexington Avenue, New York, New York. Classes are not sold separately.
Knitting kits are available for purchase for $65 dollars and include the pattern, yarn , pom pom and a button. Kits will be available for ticket holders to purchase at the store starting a week before the classes begin or can be purchased before the first class begins. Knitting needles are not included in the kit. Bring your own size 6, 16" length circular needles or purchase at the store before the first class begins.
A video tutorial will be accessible to those who purchase tickets for the classes.
The 3 classes will consist of:
Class 1 - October 13th:
-learning the basics of knitting: how to cast on, knit and purl, and how to create the rib pattern.
Class 2 - October 20th:
-learning how to do fair isle and knit with multiple colors.
Class 3 - October 27th:
-learning how to: decrease stitches, finish off the top of a hat, sew on a button to attach the pom pom, block and press a garment, and admire your finished work of art!
